REVISE concept: dual collaborative arms over a circuit card (concept art)

SBIR Topic: A244-P057 — Reverse Engineering Equipment Open Topic · Sponsor: U.S. Army · Phase I complete

Sustaining legacy and obsolete hardware often means re-creating technical data that no longer exists. REVISE is an integrated hardware-and-software platform for digitizing physical systems: reconstructing technical data, generating visual repair instructions, and creating digital twins for sustainment and obsolescence mitigation.

Note: Some details have been altered, obscured, or sanitized to safeguard operational security and proprietary methods.

Our Approach

With Alwyn Smith as Chief Engineer, our team led the engineering workflow and hardware-facing architecture: scan-data capture, spatial registration, physical measurement, CAD reconstruction, and downstream manufacturability. The platform uses dual six-axis arms around a shared calibrated work area, with swappable end-effectors for imaging, 3D scanning, and electrical probing. A primary target is printed circuit boards, where AI-driven imaging generates schematics, bills of materials, and digital twins.

Dual-Use Applicability

Aerospace and defense MRO, legacy automotive restoration, heavy-equipment maintenance, and energy infrastructure.
