Project Description

As part of an internal Research & Development Project, SWEMCO developed an overhead trolley robot to move material through their manufacturing and assembly plant. Paladin was brought in to assist SWEMCO’s engineering team in completing the design for a network-controlled turntable to allow the trolleys to move through the facility.

What We Did

We supported SWEMCO in several domains, including parts design, electronics, hardware, software and testing. Partnering with SWEMCO’s engineers and another consulting group, we covered each of the following domains:

We worked with the SolidWorks models to assess the fit of various components and designed all the mechanical parts needed to complete the design.
